Since last night, my banking apps, imdb, walmart and samsung email keep stopping with the pop appearing saying so. The app updates must only be disabled. I've already contacted hulu support about it, but i wonder if those issues are linked with my other app problems.

It looks like it will be affecting different samsung phones based on complaints posted on reddit. Gmail, twitter, and a whole bunch of other apps are all closing randomly since this afternoon. Seems they updated it to fix whatever they broke.
