Lip Filler After Care Instructions. Do bring lipstick and lip liner to the appointment as this can be applied immediately after treatment to cover up any immediate bruising; Do avoid kissing or massaging your lips directly after the procedure and possibly for up to 24 hours if it is your first lip filler injection
Do stick to foods that are easy to eat; Do’s and don’ts after lip filler. Until the swelling and redness have resolved, avoid intense heat in the treated area(s).
Apply ice packs wrapped with fabric or tissue to your lips to help reduce swelling
This will help the newly injected filler stay in place. For patients who have had juvederm lip fillers, we recommend following our juvederm care instructions after their lip injection: Apply a cool compress for 10 minutes every hour on the day of treatment (do not apply ice directly on your skin). It can take 2 weeks for the product to soften and settle;
