The word confess means “to agree,” “to admit,” or “to say the same thing.” confession is saying the same thing as god does about sin or having the same perspective on. “confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” this is superb advice because if we confess our sins and then “pray for one another” so that we can have help in overcoming our sins, we can grow in holiness and can be more.
