How to play four square;
The box labeled a or 1 contains a smaller service box (1.5’ x 1.5’) located in the far outside corner of the square. I use four large hula hoops and set them up like a four square court. One serves the ball and it must land in another square. Four square is played on a hard surface court which can be of wood, concrete and asphalt with a covered area of 16 feet.
